FIRST SATURN RETURN AT AGE 28-30

If you were born in 1989, 1990 or 1991 or you are 28, 29 or 30, you are having your First Saturn Return. You may be experiencing more stress, roadblocks, confusion and depression than usual. This is a period in your life when you are faced with changes in your relationships, career, life goals, education and money priorities. During your Saturn Return you will go through moments of self-doubt and question your life path. It may seem like there is a crack in your foundation. You are going through an initiation into adulthood. By the end of this three-year period you will find yourself and be strong again.

Saturn is the teacher of life’s tough lessons. This planet will stay in a sign for about 2-1/2 to 3 years. For the last couple years Saturn has been in the sign of Capricorn. It affects the economy, big business, politics, public health and the economy more intensely than when Saturn is in the other signs. From late March through late June 2020 Saturn will be in the sign of Aquarius. This period coincides with the outbreak of the Corona Virus and the need for social distancing. The Aquarian energy of this period brings the world together with the same goal of treating and ending the threat of Covid 19. Saturn’s work is done in solitude as governments all over the world encourage their populations to stay home and stop the spread of the virus.

During your Saturn Return there may be strained relationships with family, teachers, bosses, romantic partners and friendships. This is a time when we learn painful lessons. We may not be able to cling to outdated relationships and structures that do not function anymore. Try not to marry during the 3 years of your Saturn Return because when this period is over, you may be a changed person with different goals and values. If you have married in your early twenties, you could be questioning if it was the right thing to do. Your partner’s goals and values may be changing and if they do not align with yours, there could be an end to the marriage.

When you come out of this three-year period, you will find yourself whole and grown up. You are stronger and more self-directed now and you can look forward to new and updated structures in your life.
